Here’s Lupe Fiasco‘s “Around My Way“ from the long awaited Food & Liquor pt. 2 slated to drop September 25th. Directed by Alex Nazari, the video takes you through Lupe‘s daily stroll thru the hometown streets of Chicago. Animated characters and hard knock life onlookers are the backdrop of his journey as he spits heavily detailed political lyrics. Old school hip hop heads will recognize this song from the early 90′s smash hit “Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)” by Pete Rock and CL Smooth. There’s been a big controversy regarding the songs usage w/o full disclosure from producer Pete Rock. You can see the original song video here. Let us know what version you like better.
