Lana Del Rey: Born To Die (Official Video & Live)

Happy Friday Earthlings,

It’s no secret that everyone and their step mother’s anticipating the full length debut album by  Lana Del Rey. “Born To Die”  is slated to hit cyberstores & mega-marts this January 30th, 2012 on Interscope Records.  SwitchFlip posted the video teaser a few weeks ago, but now we finally get to see the official video release.  In true “LA fashion”, we have to represent our hometown girl and also include her live performance recently at Chateau Marmont (sponsored by English design label Mulberry).

Lana Del Rey – Born To Die

Lana Del Rey is the Shiznit! Her first 2 videos ( “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans”) destroyed it online and across indie waves the past few months.  Is all this hype w/o a debut album, you may ask?  Yes, but her style and vocals (deemed Hollywod Sadcore) are unique and impeccible. We predict a smash album for sure! Here’s the brand new “video” for the title track of her upcoming album Born to Die.  Scoop up a copy of this single on January 23rd, a week before the scheduled album release!

Lana Del Rey: Blue Jeans

Sisters n Bredren,

Here’s a new songstress that’s been in heavy rotation here at the SwitchFlip Headquarters. Definitely a new Fave in our eclectic arsenal.  Lana Del Rey  brings a very eccentric & seductive style to the game!  It’s very refreshing to see great imagery behind her sultry vocals. Besides being easy on the eye, the backdrop of vintage Hollywood, Vegas & Monaco is spectacular.  We expect to see big things from her in the near future…be on the lookout.
